This job is a hybrid role with 2 to 3 days onsite at our Rockville, MD, office location.

The ideal People & Culture Generalist has experience providing operational support within a global, distributed team; particularly in North America, Europe, LATAM, and India. This role requires strong aptitude and understanding of compliance, employment regulations, employee benefits administration, and employee relations. The ideal team member exhibits a “go-getter” attitude and passion to provide a seamless experience for internal stakeholders. They are able to thrive and work in an autonomous virtual and agile environment, and also exhibits strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs to include benefits administration, and leave; employment relations to include disputes and investigations; compliance and audit for all regions.

  • Monitor changes within our global regions and US federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and 

  • Recommend best practices; 

  • Regular reviews of policies and practices to maintain compliance;

  • Partner with Legal to process Work Authorization applications 

  • Partner with Global EORs as needed to administer benefits and compliance. 

  • Run reports and/or trends as it relates to benefits, leave, and compliance. 

  • Handle employment-related inquiries from team members, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate department leader.

  • Maintain knowledge of global HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law.

  • Help with coordination of onsite and/or offsite social events on an as needed basis. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned and support other departments as needed. 

    Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred working within a fast growing, global organization

  • Strong ability to drive things forward and proactive approach to day-today-tasks

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resource Management

  • PHR and CP certification a plus
