TLC-The Treatment and Learning Centers Full Time/ Part-Time Psychologist in Rockville, Maryland

The Treatment and Learning Centers has an opening for a full-time or part-time (20 hours minimum) licensed Psychologist to work with children, teens, parents, and/or families in the after school and evening hours. EOE

The Treatment and Learning Centers (TLC) is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1950. It is an interdisciplinary organization. Each year, TLC’s programs serve more than 2,000 individuals with a wide range of special needs and neurodiversity. We use a holistic and strengths-based approach that considers needs in the home, at work or school, and in the community, working across disciplines to address the needs of the whole person.

Requirements of the Psychologist:

  • Psychologist must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology or counseling psychology

  • Ability to work in the afternoon/evening at least twice per week

  • Experience in the areas of learning disabilities, Autism and ADHD preferred

  • Interest in play therapy and working with young children preferred

  • Opportunities to provide assessments are also available, if desired

    As a condition of employment, all employees are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated. Requests for religious or medical exemptions will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
