TLC-The Treatment and Learning Centers Director of Clinical Psychology in Rockville, Maryland

The Testing, Tutoring and Counseling Department at TLC -The Treatment and Learning Centers, seeks to hire a full-time Clinical Psychologist for the Director position. This position will oversee and manage the operations of the three teams: assessment, tutoring, and individual, group, and family counseling. The Director is responsible for supervising, training, and hiring staff, participating in the development of organizational goals, creating and strengthening community partnerships, supporting center objectives, and providing direct services including comprehensive evaluations. Required Experience - Director of Clinical Psychology:

  • Must have licensure by the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Board of Examiners of Psychologists

  • Must have a PhD or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, and at least nine years of clinical experience in the areas of learning disabilities, ADHD and Autism

  • Experience with the pediatric population

  • Previous supervisory and administrative experience required. Experience conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and counseling required

  • Experience with neuropsychological assessments desired. Experience developing and managing department budgets preferred

As a condition of employment, all employees are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated. Requests for religious or medical exemptions will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
