SUMMARY

The Candidate Management Specialist will support post-offer, pre-employment activities such as physicals, urinalysis, criminal background checks, security clearances, visas, vaccinations and arrange business travel for new hires.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures completion of pre-employment activities (physical, urinalysis, criminal background screening, clearance requirements etc.)

  • Fosters a relationship with potential employees waiting to complete employment contingencies.

  • Answer phone calls, emails and correspondence in a timely, professional manner.

  • When Preemployment completed, identifies start date with the Hiring Manager and the candidate.

  • Initiates travel and deployment activities.

  • Initiates Visa and ECC.

  • Requests Travel Itinerary with Travel Agency and/or Coordinate Charter Flights.

  • Provides itinerary to employee.

  • Notifies Site of Incoming.

  • LOA/CAC Process in SPOT (renewals).

  • Requests Travel for TDY/Ensure Readiness.

  • Excusable Travel and Delay Form Processing.

  • Other additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required:

  • High School or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • AA degree

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in human resources, travel or recruitment assistant role.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

  • Qualified candidates must be willing to support a high energy, fast paced work environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to obtain an MRPT clearance.

Preferred:

  • Experience in recruiting or travel for DoD, DoS government contracts.
