The Aftermarket Quality organization is seeking a Quality Supervisor to support the spares organization. The quality supervisor is responsible for leading a team of inspectors. The quality supervisor secures that the Quality Management Systems is implemented and maintained. This leader also supports quality initiatives to drive process improvements, secure containment of nonconforming parts, and secures that corrective actions are accomplished in a fast-paced high visibility environment.
The role will require the ability to communicate well with customers, program management, engineering, and operations regularly.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a team of quality inspectors in a union environment.
Familiarity with product inspection and provide support in the quality function.
Able to interpret engineering drawings & specifications to validate product compliance.
Fosters and maintains a cooperative relationship with our key regulatory customers such as the FAA & DCMA.
Supports the RMA process to support our customers.
Experience or ability to gain Preliminary Review (PR) & Material Review Board (MRB) authority to disposition nonconforming material.
Complete customer and Collins delegate source inspections prior to shipment
Lead or participate in preventative and corrective actions.
Provide support relative to the collection and analysis of quality data.
Provide expertise, participate in, and implement process improvements.
Facilitate the investigation and elimination of causes of quality problems and follow-up on corrective actions.
Develop and analyze statistical data and product / process performance to recommend and implement improvements in targeted areas of the organization.
Travel required: 10%
Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace industry experience
Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality experience.
Experience with quality management systems such as AS9100, ISO, Conducting Internal Audits
Experience with FAA 14 CFR Part 21 & 14 CFR Part 145.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
