We are looking for an experienced Sr. Embedded Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience doing model based software development using MathWorks on a highly visible program with a very demanding schedule.

The role is preferably onsite in ROckford, IL but can be remote for an exceptional engineer!

Candidates need to be US Citizens due to the nature of the work.

Required Skills -

  • Deep expertise in Model-Based Design using Mathworks®

  • Five plus years of experience with C programming for embedded systems

  • Possess excellent communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management

  • The candidate must be highly knowledgeable and have proven experience in DO178 A/B software certification processes.

  • This candidate should also possess experience in developing and maintaining high and low-level requirements.

Job Duties -

Hands on experience in the development and troubleshooting of embedded model based software for iteration development for the B52 and new software development for the E7. While strictly following DO178 A/B certification standards

Job Requirements -

5 years of Model Based Embedded Software Engineering

5 years of Math Works experience

5 years of Engine Control Experience strong verbal and written communication skills

5 years DO178 A/B Process experience
