Description: A Project Management Engineering Assistant job in Rockford, IL is currently available at Belcan in Rockford, IL. This is a full-time direct position with benefits that requires a local, onsite presence. To be considered, you will need an Associates or Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 years' experience with similar work. In this job, you will be the hub of communication and provide support for several projects.

Job Duties:

  • Generate, coordinate, and document communication related to testing within the project team

  • Create and maintain engineering documentation

  • Track and record all Engineering Coordination Memos (ECMs)

  • Generate and manage schedules and tracking of ECM responses

  • Review test plans to ensure coverage of all requirements

  • Use provided tools for change management creation and collation of data and generation of documents

  • Act as a hub of communication for internal and external stakeholders and customers

Required:

  • An Associates or Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 years" experience with similar work

  • Skilled with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to provide attention to detail

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and highly organized

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of or previous experience in aerospace export control procedures and regulations

  • Previous experience in a test lab environment

  • Understanding of engineering test report documentation

  • Knowledge of or previous experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $62,400 to $70,720. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
