Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day supplier communications and setting priorities through cross-functional interaction with operations, planning and program management.

  • Create daily status reports and communicate the results with our customers, prime aerospace manufacturers, throughout the day.

  • Communicate potential shipping delays including identifying root cause with suppliers on delays and establish recovery plans to bring shipments back online through e-mail and phone communications.

  • Work any potential delivery delays

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Work with program office on reporting status to internal customers.

  • Work with operations to understand their build plans and requirements via SAP and relate this to OTD

  • Obtain and maintain On Time Delivery to MRP required date

  • Complete Line of Balance

  • SAP experience needed

Desired Skills:

  • Medium Excel skills (Intermediate)

  • Supply Chain Purchasing experience required.

  • Tableau experience a plus

  • 4 yr. degree preferred.

  • High School Diploma with 3-5 years supply chain delivery assurance experience acceptable

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
