Essential Functions

  • Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with company policy.

  • Assess risk of all financial transactions executed by organization personnel.

  • Direct, coordinate, and monitor activities to implement institution's policies and procedures.

  • Contact customers and businesses, community, and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.

  • Compile and report financial data as required by organization and government regulations.

  • Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service. Resolves account problems.

  • Cross-trains and serves in teller and Customer Service Representative functions.

  • Participates with HR and Area Branch Manager on interviews, training, planning, assigning, and directing work for branch positions.

  • Participates with HR and Area Branch Manager in performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Participates in the annual Business Continuity Plan Mock Tests.

  • Approves branch invoices.

  • Oversees branch facilities and elevates to Maintenance personnel and/or COO as needed.

  • Ensure security procedures are followed according to bank policy.

  • Ensure branch staff attend the required regulatory training as it is scheduled.

  • Supervisory responsibilities, to include:

  • Directly supervises employees in the Classic Bank Branch environment

  • Supports organization's goals and values

  • Follows policies and procedures

  • Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time

  • Benefits organization through outside activities; Supports affirmative action and respects diversity.

  • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Banking operations, policies and procedures

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with other departments and branches

  • Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while meeting consistent deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills

  • Must be able to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, and maintain a professional demeanor

    Education and Experience

  • Four-year college degree and/or equivalent experience in a Bank management environment

  • Three to five years of supervisory experience preferred

  • CSR and previous banking experience a plus

    Working Conditions

  • Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms

  • Requires corrected hearing in normal range of effective communication via telephone and alarms

  • Must be able to speak English

  • May be required to either sit or stand for long periods of time

  • May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Considerable effort and eyestrain from continued checking on the accuracy of all work.
