Christ Church Quest Teens Rockaway Campus Specialist (PT-Contractor) in Rockaway, New Jersey

The primary role of the Teen Specialist Contractor is to assist the Quest Teens Student Ministries staff and Directors in the ongoing ministry to prepare for the Sunday experience, facilitate Teen Church on Sundays, and facilitate events. Tasks include but are not limited to the below duties and functions: • Assist Teen Director in crafting teen-centric sermons for the Sunday experience according to the curriculum. • Create PowerPoint presentations for the Sunday experience. • Attend weekly prayer meeting to intercede for teens, leaders, and the Sunday experience. • Meet with the teaching team to assist with their sermon preparation.  • Create weekly service coordination by delegating roles and responsibilities and send via email to the administrative assistant. • Ensure that the sanctuary for Teen Church is prepared for the Sunday experience. • Open and close Teen Church to ensure setup and breakdown when serving onsite for the Sunday experience. • Meet with leadership team to plan teen events. • Update serving team schedule for automated reminders of upcoming serving assignments. • Add the contact information of new teens to the database and email list. • Order monthly supplies for Teen Church such as snacks, water, and giveaways. TERMS:  This Agreement shall commence upon execution by the parties and shall continue for a period of one year.  The Agreement will renew automatically for successive one-year periods unless a party provides 15 days’ advance written notice of the party’s decision not to renew.  In addition, either party may terminate this Agreement during any one-year term by giving 15 days’ written notice of termination.
