Secondary Team Lead

$20/hr.

Are you experienced in the manufacturing industry? Are you a leader with no team to lead? If so, this job is for you! A custom fabrication company in the Rock Valley, IA area is looking for a Secondary Team Lead to join their growing team! As a Secondary Team Lead, you will ensure the production of company products meets company and/or customer standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments, and directly lead the cleaning department.

  • Plan and schedule workflow for the work area according to established manufacturing sequences.

  • Participate in planning meetings, recommending space, personnel, and equipment requirements.

  • Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization, and quality of product.

  • Ensure the completion of all required production paperwork, records, documentation, such as time cards, quality records, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent with two to five years related experience.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as layouts, blueprints, sketches and maintenance instructions.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and circumference.

  • Ability to operate various equipment to include welding equipment, forklift, hoists, hand and power tools.
