If you are an accomplished accounting champion who thrives in a highly innovative, emergent technology environment where you have the opportunity to own and execute on general ledger deliverables, this is the position for you! What You Will Do * Responsible for day-to-day accounting and monthly close activities, helping to ensure the Company’s financial statements and resulting supporting schedules are captured timely, completely, and accurately in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. * Duties include the preparation of journal entries of varying complexity, account reconciliations, and accounting schedules such as roll forwards, fluctuations and other similar analysis. * Responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, translating, consolidating, and entering transactions. * Responsible for preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. * Responsible for maintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. * Responsible for supporting business partners through ad hoc information requests and knowledge sharing. * Responsible for maintaining a complete and effective internal control environment. * Contribute to more complex accounting projects and initiatives alongside other members of the accounting, finance, and/or business operations teams. What You Will Need Education and Training * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting * Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred Experience * Three or more years of recent accounting roles * Oracle Financial Systems (preferred) * Hyperion Financial Management (“HFM”) (preferred) * Blackline (preferred) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Acts with integrity, honesty and compassion; confronts issues directly (avoids triangulation).
