Hillside Family of Agencies Supervisor Residential - RISE in Rochester, New York

We are hiring for a Residential Supervisor position responsible for the quality of the therapeutic milieu and the performance of the Youth Care Professionals. As a Residential Supervisor you will both coach and mentor Assistant Supervisors and Youth Care Professionals to ensure the needs of the youth in care are met. You will be responsible for the efficiency of day to day operations of the unit, including scheduling employees, hiring, training, regulatory compliance (OCFS, OPWD, OMH, JJS, COA, CMS, etc.) and safety of youth, families, and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate, support and link Hillside mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies to everyday work and establish clear, meaningful, challenging, and attainable objectives and expectations that are aligned with those of the organization.

  • Responsible for the administration of Human Resource related functions for assigned employees according to Hillside policy and guidelines to include hiring, termination, performance management.

  • Align the right work with the right people and delegate tasks according to people’s strengths and interests.

  • Ensure that employees have the skills and resources to be successful.

  • Provide employees with coaching, training and opportunities for growth to improve their skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a residential setting; 2+ years of supervisory experience in a residential setting (ideally, with Hillside) preferred

  • Should have a valid driver’s license and meet agency driving standards

    $22.01 Minimum Rate per hour, $33.01 Maximum Rate per hour, based on experience.
