Position Summary: The Dining Server ensures resident and guest satisfaction by serving meals in a hospitable and efficient manner. Responsible for providing the highest quality service in a fine dining or catering atmosphere. Responsibilities include:

  • Thoroughly set up dining rooms or catered functions for each meal period or event.

  • Have a thorough knowledge of all menu items to include: Ingredients, cooking time, how items are prepared and alternatives.

  • Check your specific section for complete and proper set up.

  • Complete daily opening and closing side work and temperature logs.

  • Properly reset your section at the end of your shift.

  • Take orders from residents or guests by phone or in person.

  • Serve residents and guests in a fine dining sit down atmosphere.

  • Serve residents and guests in special catered functions and parties.

  • Perform all assigned cleaning duties.

  • Assist other coworkers whenever possible.

  • Greet and serve residents in a warm and friendly manner.

  • Provide service that is efficient and professional.

    Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent is preferred.

  • HACCP/Food Safety Certified is preferred.

  • Fluent in the English Language.

  • At least one (1) year experience as a dining server preferred but not required.
