Hillside Family of Agencies School Based Speech Pathologist - Monroe Andrews Trahey in Rochester, New York

WE ARE OFFERING A $2500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR SPEECH PATHOLOGISTS!

We have an amazing opportunity for a School Based Speech Pathologist to help assess, diagnose, treat, and prevent communication and swallowing disorders at our Monroe Andrews-Trahey school with flexibility for ages 10-22.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer hearing or speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to student to collect information on type and degree of impairment

  • Evaluate hearing or speech and language test results, and medical or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing disorder

  • Develop and/or implement treatment plans for speech problems based on own assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, or social workers

  • Develop individual or group activities or programs to address social and pragmatic needs and speech and language deficits

  • Monitor students’ progress and adjust treatments accordingly

  • Participate in and write reports for meetings regarding the students’ progress

  • Educate students and family members about various topics, such as communication techniques or strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstanding

  • CFY or graduate student supervision opportunities

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree, New York License in Speech Pathology, and CCC's

  • 1+ years of clinical experience in Speech Pathology preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and meet agency driving standards

$54,662.00 Minimum Rate per year, $91,104.00 Maximum Rate per year, based on experience.
