Job Description:
The Patient Registration Associate (PRA) is an experienced, flexible, highly organized individual, who provides support for all Divisions within the Department of Surgery, as well as the Highland Procedures Center. This includes greeting patients and visitors, verifying patient demographics and insurance, scheduling appointments, medical records management and telephone management. Responsible for accurate and timely input of all collected information into the Hospital information systems. Manages patient flow and communicates with patients and staff to ensure the highest level of patient centered care and operational efficiency. He/she is a team player that follows established division center policies and procedures and demonstrates all ICare values.
Salary Range:
$17.00 - $22.55 hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
Experience: Two years previous office experience; medical office experience preferred.
License/Certification Required: n/a
Skills: Ability to use various hospital information systems (which may include eRecord, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience is highly recommended.
Pleasant manner, courteous, neat and effective communication skills
