Our client is a leading provider of medical imaging systems. We are looking to add someone to this team who can share in the company's passion for commitment to provide high-value technology to their customers. This company has worldwide reach with a long-standing local footprint.

Position Details:

Datrose is seeking a Packer/Forklift Operator for a one-year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire.

Location: Rochester, NY

Work Hours:6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Who We're Looking For:

We need an experienced Packer that must also be able to drive the fork truck to bring the product to the warehouse loading dock area. Minimal assembly work. This person will also do heavy lifting and use overhead cranes.

What to Expect as a Packer / Forklift Operator:

  • Support the building of large medical equipment products.

  • Load equipment into crates and prepare for shipping.

  • Operate forklift and overhead crane as well as other small hand tools.

  • Some assembly or disassembly may be required.

  • Follow written 'standard work' processes.

  • Accurately record data.

  • Provide input / feedback during team discussions.

  • Work effectively with others.

  • Comply with all company / departmental policies & regulations including FDA Audits, 5S, and compliance.

  • Operates with direct supervisory support.

Qualifications for Success:

  • High School Diploma or GED/HSE OR 1 yr of warehouse experience required

  • Fork Truck License preferred

  • Need steel toe safety shoes

  • Basic mathematic skills

  • Prior Warehouse/Dock experience

  • Detail oriented with time management skills

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Word and basic Excel and Outlook

  • SAP knowledge is preferred
