Job Description for Office Manager

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, organized person to work as an Office Manager with a team of engineers at the AIM Photonics TAP facility in Rochester, NY to support operations and business growth.

The ideal candidate must be professional with good communication skills and have a strong desire to support and help others with administrative and organizational tasks. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to ensure success and productivity in a multi-faceted environment.

Job Responsibilities for the Office Manager include:

  • Providing support to the engineering team that includes purchasing, monitoring, organizing, tracking, receiving, packing, and shipping materials.

  • The candidate will help engineers with the tracking and documentation of incoming and outgoing flow of wafers and silicon photonic devices manufactured by AIM Photonics.

  • Help with clerical and administrative duties such as scheduling, purchase requisition creation, filing invoices, maintaining documentation, and completing forms.

  • Work closely with engineers involved in the exciting field of Integrated Photonics and helping to host visitors, guests and vendors visiting AIM Photonics from all over the world.

    Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements for Office Manager

  • Associate degree in business, communications, or related field

  • Two to three years of relevant experience

This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
