Adecco US, Inc. Mechanical Engineer in Rochester, New York

Adecco is hiring immediately for a Mechanical Engineer with a local client in Rochester, NY. Pay is based upon experience from $70hr. - $120/hr.

Duties:

· The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for mechanical design/packaging electronics. The candidate will be required to meet with project stake holders on a regular basis to understand technical issues and develop solutions.

· Independently, develops and implements concepts for range of significantly complex product issues and engineering solutions.

· Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects and spearhead research and development of new technologies, as appropriate

· Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of significantly complex engineering problems.

· Specify or perform significantly complex engineering analysis.

· Interface with internal and external customers regarding significantly complex engineering issues to address customers High Value Problems (HVP) for a range of products.

· Generate product specifications. Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests.

· Specify and review engineering documentation and engineering processes.

Requirements:

· 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· A minimum of 7 years experience in mechanical engineering and design

· Experienced in 3D CAD systems (NX) and Teamcenter is preferred.

· Hands-on experience with mechanical development and design of high voltage products

· Experience in analysis, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and root-causing electro-mechanical systems.

· Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related software

· You have good analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

· You are a team player and have the ability and self-motivation to learn quickly and independently.

· You demonstrate strong technical leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high quality products while adhering to strict deadlines.

· You foster an environment that welcomes and encourages new and innovative design concepts, inventions, patents, and product opportunities for improvement.
