NAMI Rochesters Help Line Coordinator and Administrative Assistant answers calls made to NAMI Rochesters telephone. Provides Administrative Assistance to the Executive Director /CEO and Director of Programs. Responsible for ensuring the Help Line and office administration operates at maximum capacity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responds to all incoming calls Assists Executive Director with assigned duties Assists Program Director as needed Stays current on access to mental health and substance support in the community Searches for mental illness/mental support available in the community Communicates clearly to callers and provides follow-up material when necessary Seeks to understand mental illness conditions that may not be understood Assists in organizing and compiling current versions of facilitator training manuals, discards outdated material Assists in organizing and compiling current versions of participant manuals, discards outdated material Assists in maintaining a clean and organized office environment Monitors office supplies and keeps a list of supplies. Submits a list to ED to approve for purchase Create a binder for NAMI Roc insurance policies and their expiration dates Keeps an updated Grant notebook Order lunch and/or other food for meetings as requested by ED Set up and take down for all meetings Schedule interpreters for Board meetings, and any other time an interpreter is required Make copies for presentations when needed Order brochures as requested by the Director of Programs and ED
