Passero Associates’ Rochester, NY Office has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Planner Co-op/Intern to work on a broad range of environmental planning projects throughout New York State to support our municipal and land development service lines. Responsibilities include field visits, data gathering, technical analysis, report writing, and coordination/management with other Team members.Responsibilities:•Collaborate with different disciplines (engineers, planners, GIS specialists, and architects) to understand how each discipline helps progress a project•Research natural resource inventories to streamline site visits•Prepare forms and technical documentation in accordance with local and State regulatory requirements•Attend project meetings and field visitsQualifications/ Experience:•Pursuing and AAS or BS degree in environmental planning/studies•Eager learner and self-motivated•Strong organizational and people skills, decision-making skills and strategic planning skills•Passionate about technical research required, with an emphasis on detail •Strong communication skills, both verbal and written•Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook •Ability to visit job sites; personal vehicle and valid driver’s license required•This is an onsite opportunity •Available Summer 2024Submit your resume and cover letter today!
