Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Document Control professional to coordinate and ensure there is information consistency across Buildings and Shared Services business centers projects by assisting with the development and execution of various forms of project documentation while maintaining control and traceability of the project documents from project initiation through completion.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the project team to maintain a current and accurate understanding of project status, issues, and changes.

  • Provide solutions and guidance to the business center and project teams to ensure that document control procedures, processes, and systems are clearly understood and properly utilized.

  • General document and revision tracking.

  • Responsible for the coordination and use of the respective software platforms for the coordination of project deliverables.

  • Responsible for supporting team members in the proposal process.

  • Support general administrative activities.

  • Support records retention.

  • Support and promote various employee programs, including social and community engagement activities.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple concurrent assignments.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Prior work in document controls / administrative assistant role is a plus.

  • Prior experience in consulting or working for a Construction Manager/General Contractor is a plus.

  • Ability to learn client required systems. Prior experience with Newforma, Procore or similar systems is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • Years of experience: 3 plus.

  • Preferred: 2 Year Construction Management Degree or equivalent experience.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • 63,000 - 88,200 Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in NYC/NY

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
