SUMMARY

The Staff Business Planning Analyst, as a member of the Finance department at Rochester Regional Health will provide financial support, business planning assistance, analysis, and actionable consultative advice relative to Rochester Regional strategic initiatives with the goal of improving overall financial performance and business processes.

STATUS: Full time

LOCATION: Riedman Campus

DEPARTMENT: Innovation Center

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday days

ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business/Health Administration, Statistics or related field required.
  • At least 1 - 3 years of prior relevant experience including experience collecting and analyzing data preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partners with the Executive and Operational leaders to develop comprehensive, forward looking business plans and financial analyses for potential mergers, acquisitions, service line growth & expansion, operational evaluations, and other initiatives. Presents decision-makers with a financial overview of assigned projects and provides recommendations supported by internal and external metrics.
  • Creates interactive financial models to project financial outcomes based on a set of predetermined variables and assumptions. Utilizes Discounted Cash Flow concepts and methods to evaluate and compare alternatives.
  • Collaborates with team members at all levels of the organization to gather, compile and analyze relevant financial & operational data for assigned projects.
  • Compares and analyzes actual results against implemented business initiatives and recommends improvements to forecasting/planning methods for the future projects.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $57,000.00 - $70,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
