Job Description:

Order Management provides direct support for the Sales and Program Management teams in executing purchase orders and contracts that are placed to Harris. The role is responsible for loading demand against the factory, preparing all shipping documentation, and coordinating the creation of payment documentation. Order Management also processes credits for returns of equipment and is also responsible for the shipment of temporary exports for equipment demonstrations assisting the Sales team in closing out pursuits.

  • Responsible for directing and managing international sales orders from booking through to payment.

  • Responsible for determining if the internal organization can meet customer requirements. Understands, interprets, and maintains compliance with federal regulations.

  • Tracks export licenses

  • Prepares US Customs documentation for all shipments in compliance to ITAR and EAR regulations

  • Coordinates overseas shipments with freight forwarders

  • Prepares documentation for Letters of Credit in order to collect payment.

  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering customer phone calls, and uploading/editing documents on SharePoint

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply chain, or relevant field

    Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro encouraged.

  • Strong written and oral skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Works well within a team and works well with multiple teams simultaneously.
