Faculty job description:

Faculty position in the University of Rochester School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Allergy Immunology and Rheumatology.

We are recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join our academic faculty in our Rheumatology practice. We are a twenty-member faculty group with world renowned members with expertise in allergic disease, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, SLE, Sjogren’s Syndrome, scleroderma, clinical immunology and MSK ultrasound. The Division is a leader in providing high quality care, the design and implementation of innovative translational studies and clinical trials and the development of novel approaches in resident and fellowship education. The Division has 6 fully staffed clinic sites and two infusion centers, 7 advance practice providers and a robust and talented support staff including 25+ RN's working as a team to provide timely, state-of- the art patient care.

The position will entail an academic faculty appointment in the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Position is commensurate with experience and activities will include patient care, supervision of fellows, residents and medical students and scholarly endeavors.

Applicants are required to be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology and be eligible for licensure in the State of New York and have a strong interest in both inpatient and outpatient clinical rheumatology and/or allergy. Post offer drug screen, health assessment and PPD is required.

Qualifications:

M.D., D.O. Degree or equivalent

Eligible for a New York State Medical License

Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Eligible for Board Certification in Rheumatology

Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

Pay Range

Pay Range: $190,000 - $274,553 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
