FANUC America Corporation (FAC) provides the most complete range of industry-leading robotics, CNC and motion control systems, and ROBODRILL machining centers. Our innovative technologies and proven expertise help manufacturers in the Americas to be more efficient, reliable and profitable. We are currently searching for a Facilities Engineer repairing, and maintaining the interior/exterior services, managing preventative maintenance and facility equipment in coordination with the Facilities Department, in accordance with state, local and regulatory compliance to support FANUC America Corporation.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnose and Monitor plant operations including plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and create specifications for HVAC per equipment manufacturer’s recommendations for preventative and predictive maintenance

  • Provide Facilities Manager input on special projects (e.g. construction projects, equipment selection, cost-reductions, etc.

  • Monitor and maintain building comfort level though the computer BAS system and daily audits

  • Develop specifications for services, preventive maintenance, and capital expense along with executing the project from order to invoice approval

  • Solves complex problems, takes a new perspective on existing solutions and analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment

  • Manage and optimize third-party vendors that are cost efficient and easy to work with to maximize the value of the relationship

  • Working knowledge of HVAC equipment, compressors, equipment and tools

  • Address Facility related daily issues (Facilities Quick Track, FQT)

  • Ability to repair or modify things like doors, furniture and other equipment

  • Operate/program computerized energy management systems

    Ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Trade School or Technical School Completion preferred

  • Minimum five years preferred of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations

  • Knowledge of MIOSHA regulatory standards, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), etc.

  • Experience managing and writing specifications for construction, electrical, HVAC housekeeping, landscaping, or other facility contractors

  • Working knowledge of electrical, security systems, landscaping services, food services, housekeeping services, and plumbing

  • Understanding of environmental compliance issues

  • Ability to read, understand and interpret construction documents, blueprints and manuals

  • HVAC Controls Programming experience Heating, Ventilating, Air conditioning, and Refrigeration

  • Ability to take ownership and corrective action/decision making with facilities to assure timely and permanent problem resolution

  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet unscheduled customer requests, including overtime as needed

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs, climb a ladder, work in hard to maneuver spaces with various work environments

  • Willingness to travel to multiple FANUC locations
