Job Description:

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Social Worker to join our team for the 2024-25 school year. The successful candidate will work in Robbins, IL, contributing to the well-being and development of elementary school students (PreK - Kinder). With only about 10 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) on the caseload, this role will establish the foundation of early learners' first school experience and create proactive groups to support their success.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work

  • IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work

  • Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred

    Responsibilities:

  • Full-time 2024-25 School year 

  • Hours 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

  • Provide direct social work services to elementary school students (PreK - Kinder), addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' overall well-being.

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and challenges, and develop individualized plans accordingly.

  • Collaborate with the school community to create a positive and inclusive environment.

  • Participate in relevant meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and educational trends.
