Allegheny Envelope CDL B with Air Brake Endorsement Driver in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania

Allegheny Envelope is an Envelope Manufacturing Company located in Roaring  Spring, PA.  What do we do?  Exactly that, make envelopes.

Are you looking to earn some extra money?   We are looking for a Part-Time as needed CDL Class B Driver with Air Brakes endorsement.

Primary purpose of this position: To deliver envelopes in a safe and efficient manner to our Customers.

 

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

  • Loads freight onto the truck
  • Ensure freight is always secured
  • Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspects tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required
  • Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
  • Unloads products from the trailer (if required), and transports items into designated customer storage areas
  • Complete all necessary paperwork

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • 1+ year experience driving
  • Have a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement
  • Must possess  DOT physical or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
  • Driver cannot have more than three (3) motor vehicle violations within the last three (3) years.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
