Contract type: Full-time employment with three month probation

This position is only for those who qualify as (People with disabilities – PWD).

You are few steps away from joining Amazon Fulfillment Center Team.

This role would require a lot of physical energy as you’ll be on the move for your whole shift topick, pack and dispatch packages toallow Amazon to deliver orders efficiently. Get prepared to work with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills.

In this role, you will run some exciting activities:

  • Use hand-held devices and scanners to sort, scan, and prepare products for delivery

  • Exchange safety tips daily with co-workers

  • Build, wrap, sort and transport packages

You will also need to be able to:

  • Lift packages weighing up to 22 kg

  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during 9 /10 hours shifts

  • Operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move stuff large quantities of merchandise

  • Go up and down stairs

  • Attend scheduled shift during Fridays and Saturdays, or Public holidays

  • Your safety is important to us, which requires you to wear a safety vest and start your day with daily stretching

  • You will work around and use moving machines, such as pickers, and mobile carts

  • Your shifts will include activities that may require standing in one place for long periods or walking long distances. You will need to wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes

  • It can get hot. Even with climate controls, temperatures in some parts of our warehouses may vary between 20 and 30 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 38 degrees in the yard

  • It can get noisy. We will give you hearing protection, if you need it

  • The dress code is relaxed with respect to the safety dress code, which is a mandatory requirement

Essential requirements to qualify as a candidate:

  • You are 18 years old or above

  • Able to read and understand basic English as it is the language used in Amazon systems and devices

  • You have basic computer skills (able to use keyboard, mouse, close and open Windows, etc.)
