Today, we are recruiting for a Telecommunications and SCADA Maintenance Senior Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Plan for the maintenance activities according to the resources.

  • Delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift to the right skills in the team.

  • Responsible for the technical correction condition and the timely availability of all components, which form part of the maintenance section.

  • Assess the team performance and individuals.

  • Work on the continuous improvement of the procedures document and workflow aiming to reduce time and cost and increase quality and efficiency.

  • Handle O&M activity such as engineering activity, PM, CM, modification, overhaul, and other tasks as necessary.

  • Network between the various maintenance and operation departments to manage scheduled maintenance tasks.

  • Conduct internal meetings within the maintenance section.

  • Act as interface between maintenance sections.

  • Responsible for appropriate actions in the event of incidents within the maintenance section.

  • Support with the human resources for the recruitment and suggest training programs for the staff under his management.

  • Optimize the maintenance tasks because of ongoing analysis.

  • Validate the inspection results and decide on appropriate actions.

  • Analyze the maintenance history for the related equipment and facilities.

  • Conduct reports to ensure the availability of sufficient and suitable spare parts and consumables for his area of supervision.

  • Responsible for the speedy availability of suitable manpower, adequate tools, and materials in events of incidents.

  • Responsible for the budget of materials, spare parts, and personnel used by his services.

  • Ensure that the site team is fitted for work and has all the necessary PPEs in acceptable quality

  • Ensure the full awareness of the team for all related HSE and quality instructions.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in operation, maintenance, or testing & and commissioning of railways depot equipment or rolling stock.

  • Awareness of the quality standards and audit.

  • Experience in handling incidents and emergencies such as derailment.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

  • Good understanding of analytical and investigative principles and procedures.

  • Advanced level of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
