Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare is looking for Tamheer Intern that will join our Services team!

As Logistics Specialist, you'll be working on transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.

This is a 6-month Tamheer Internship program.

Job Description

  • Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking.

  • Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

  • Working on end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods.

  • Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

  • Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

  • Collaborates with others to solve issues.

  • develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Electronics, Metrology or related field plus two years of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical diagnostic/repair experience.

  • Working knowledge of metrology, calibration instruments and data based computer applications.

  • Ability to analyze data, determine root cause and make recommendations for CAPA.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills in local language.

  • Ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to work without close supervision.
