The Middle East and in particular Saudi Arabia are pushing the boundaries of innovation and investment with world changing Programs and we are looking for a to help our client transform their Infrastructure engineering designs into reality. You will play an integral part in helping work towards the Saudi vision 2030 plan by overseeing a major project with the aim of building a world-class tourism destination in the heart of the Kingdom, enhancing the quality of life of visitors and residents. With delegated authority from the Regional Construction Director, as Senior Project Lead you will be collaborating with our client acting as a conduit between Leadership and stakeholders of the Infrastructure Construction Supervision team, ensuring Jacobs deliver the agreed scope of services as per contractual conditions and industries best practices. Operating from the Site Construction Project office on the outskirts of Riyadh, as well as delivering an existing Construction Supervision scope of work you will also be engaging in the development of opportunities working with external and internal client stakeholders. Key expectations of your position will be to:-

  • Collaborate with the client’s team to establish Construction Supervision Team working standards, leading by example, encouraging collaboration, and adopting a delivery-oriented project culture

  • Ensure compliance with the Project Execution Plan to support effective project delivery

  • Lead the project team to ensure that deliverables are submitted on schedule and are meeting Client expectations and project objectives

  • Administer the Jacobs contract on site, providing guidance to the team on contractual matters

  • Sort through design interpretation and escalate to the Engineer of Record for resolution

  • Lead reporting efforts to allow the Resident Engineers and Engineers to focus on delivery

  • Ensure timely invoice submittal and compliance

  • Take guidance from Jacobs Regional HSE and Quality Management to create supervision oversite of Safety and Quality to ensure progress is not put ahead of Safety or Quality

  • Provide oversight in coordination with Contractor, Site Team and Client to close out any quality or safety issues in a timely fashion

  • Establish regular design meetings to avoid progress delays and identify potential issues with the design that require Engineer of Record input

Here’s what you’ll need :

As a successful candidate, you will already have seasoned experience in helping to lead Infrastructure related projects covering both the design and delivery of Infrastructure assets i.e. roads, highways, utilities, water with district cooling experience a plus. You will be degree qualified in Engineering, Construction or a Management related degree. Experience of project delivery within the Middle East will be required. Experience of or a sound understanding of how Consultancy Services operate in Infrastructure Construction Supervision is highly desirable. Jacobs. A world where you can.
