We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Instock Manager willing to shape the future of the the instock management function for Amazon's MENA business as we continue to experiment with innovative ways to scale our growth. This position is part of the GCC Instock Management team and will play a key role on both step changing our teams analytical capabilities as well as scaling and automating our internal processes and the ways we interact with our vendor base. Within the role, you will have a unique opportunities to dive deep into data, invent, simplify our processes and think big on new ways to scale our operations. Daily tasks will range from conducting high complexity analysis to process improvement, outsourcing and automation. Focus areas will entail both inventory management (Forecasting, Buying, Placement) and Vendor relationships areas.

Key job responsibilities

  • Design and define products that help automate processes, both internal ones and external (vendor facing) to improve our productivity and overall supply chain costs

  • Partner with the broader MENA ISM team on complex analytics to identify opportunities for enhancing revenue and profitability. Act as the analytical workhorse of the team, surfacing insights to the leadership team based on a comprehensive data analyses involving multiple disparate sources

  • Analyzing and diving deep on our vendor performances, identifying possible changes and presenting insights and recommendations to the leadership team.

  • Assist Retail teams in standardizing SOPs for scenarios not yet automated; centralize these processes with RBS.

  • Own the design and manage the development of metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.

You will need to be comfortable with a high growth, fast-paced, high performing and dynamic organization. You will also need to be process-oriented since you will partner with business, operations, and technology teams to drive new initiatives and improvements. You will be able to balance innovative thinking with the ability to earn trust across a wide part of the organization. You will be able to work cross-functionally, drive projects end-to-end, build strong relationships, as well as having demonstrable experience in senior stakeholder management. You will partner closely with Amazon teams across MENA, Seattle, and other emerging marketplaces around the world.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (STEM field preferred)

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data manipulation on large databases and external data sources

  • Ability to analyze and propose data-driven solutions

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • 4+ years of experience in program or product management

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in operations, vendor management/buying, technology, or product management preferred

  • Python and VBA knowledge
