Job Description:

Job Summary:

Responsible for leading the execution of digital content development and marketing across Discover website(s), and email channels for the Collections Value Stream. Initiates and manages the media calendar and all content updates and content strategy, ensuring effectiveness, to drive product awareness, and engagement, as well as corresponding analytics, including targeting, creative execution, promotional testing, and program reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements digital content and corresponding digital marketing and content marketing plans for customers facing financial hardship.

  • Works with Creative Agency to design marketing assets and manage all facets of execution needed for marketing. Provides digital content and campaign reporting.

  • Partners on other Marketing Projects and collaborates with all business units on content and marketing efforts as assigned, ensuring effective collaboration on website and email content initiatives. Includes creative development, legal and compliance review, and budget management.

  • Advises manager and internal business partners how to simplify campaigns to ensure great customer experience.

  • Manages campaign milestones and ensures on-time delivery.

  • Develops and maintains a few account specific marketing and promotion plans. Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors to ensure increase in brand and product awareness, traffic and engagement

  • Stays abreast of digital content and marketing industry trends and makes recommendations for content strategy to market Collections programs and offers and drive payments most effectively.

  • Establishes, and adheres to, strong controls to ensure accuracy of creative assets, business requirements, and functionality of campaigns before, during, and post campaign launch.

  • As needed, research the root cause of customer complaints or customer impacting events and develop solutions to deliver an error free customer experience.

Qualifications You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing

  • 2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Communications, Content Strategy

Bonus Points If You Have

  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing Campaign Execution

  • A strong sense of operational efficiency to support the logistics needed to produce complex marketing campaigns

  • Desire to grow campaign capabilities and enhance existing communications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaign timelines

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65,000.00 to $109,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
