Description

The manager of Foreign Exchange Retail International Check Collection will lead a group of associates within the Foreign Exchange Retail Operations team for Commercial Operations. The FX team is responsible for processing checks according to business rules and regulatory requirements, sending checks out to the clearing banks for collections, crediting customers’ accounts, researching general ledger differences and aged items.This role is suited to an adaptable self starter with the desire to drive results and who possesses the capabilities to forge strong partnerships and deliver through influencing and collaborating with others. The key deliverables of the role are: Provide leadership and day to day managementCreate a framework to embed voice of the customer leading to improved service and satisfactionEnhance key performance indicators to effectively measure customer, risk, financial and colleague business performanceImprove colleague capability among large operational populations by identifying gaps, planning and implementing training and development initiativesDevelop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across divisionsIdentify improvement opportunities through data analytics and stakeholder interactionThe Business: Operations, Commercial BankingCommercial Operations support a diverse range of products including Global Wire Transfer, Automated Clearing House (ACH), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Wholesale Lockbox, International Trade & Supply Chain Finance, Foreign Exchange, Cash Management, Commercial Loans, Asset Based Lending and Leasing

Qualifications

Knowledge of Operations and the Commercial Banking business would be a distinct advantageExtensive experience in Operations Management Bachelors degree and 5+ years relevant business experience, or 5+ years experience in lieu of degree Knowledge of check processing including check collection, foreign currency conversion, accounting principles and reconcilement Extensive experience with MS Excel and PowerPointAbility to multi task, prioritize and work independentlyTrack record of fostering collaboration and innovative thinkingAbility to work under own initiative and drive resultsExcellent written and verbal communication skills A track record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to analyze data, identify trends and formulate proposalsExcellent time management skills; goal driven while also meeting day to day business needs.Hours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
