East Bay Community Action Program (EBCP) is seeking a full-time Vice President of Human Resources for our Agency.

The Vice President Human of Recourses is a member of the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the President/CEO. The Vice President of Human Resources will provide support, leadership, and supervision to the Human Resources staff, and[is responsible for, but not limited to: developing and administering a comprehensive and legal process for recruitment, screening, selection, orientation, training, and retention of competent employees through practices and strategies to enhance employment, compensation, benefits, orientation, safety, credentialing, competency assessment, training, policy writing, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), payroll processing, and employee relations.]{#_Hlk522048711}

ExtensiveKnowledge of and Proficiency in:

  • employment law and HR best practices.
  • safety issues and concerns for internal safety procedures, protocol, and personal safety issues for all staff.
  • management techniques.
  • effective communication strategies.

Must:

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional, ethical performance standards.
  • Have excellent presentation skills, superior leadership and management skills, and dedicated collaborator orientation.
  • Foster and cultivate trust and partnerships with all levels.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION:

A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field with at least 7 years of experience including management is required. Must have extensive education and knowledge of federal and state laws and licensing/accreditation requirements that impact Human Resources.
