At Luxfer Superform, we specialize in the Superforming of Aluminum, Titanium, and Magnesium alloys as a 1st Tier supplier to OEM’s. Established in 1974, Superform, serves customers in all the major markets including Aerospace.

We are seeking a Maintenance Team Member for our busy Riverside Manufacturing Facility.

The Maintenance Team member will assist in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of pieces of equipment including but not limited to a Hot Forming Press, Forklift, Plasma Cutter, Clean Line, Tool Prepping, Shear Operation, Compressors, Hydraulic Presses, 5-axis machine, PLC driven equipment and electrically driven equipment. Team members are also responsible for general building and facilities maintenance. 

Responsibilities

  • Calibrates manufacturing equipment’s control systems to verify equipment is operating at established performance levels. Repair/replace components when operation is not at established levels.

  • Support the TPM through the development and maintenance of procedures, including the performance of inspections per the TPM Schedule.

  • Assist in the control and maintaining “critical spares’ inventory

  • Abide by all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements while performing all tasks and activities.

  • Perform tasks to improve the availability, performance, and quality output of all equipment and production machinery.

  • Accurately and promptly complete all calibration and maintenance documents.

  • Perform machine, facility, and other general maintenance duties as assigned.

Experience

  •  Three (3) to Five (5) years of related experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is required.

  • Vocational degree or equivalent field experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience on the following machines is preferred but not required, Hot Forming Hydraulic Press, Forklift, Plasma Cutter, Clean Line, Tool Prepping, or a 5-axis CNC Machine.

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.

  • Basic Knowledge of AC/DC electricity and Mechanical is essential. 

  • Must be familiar with safety requirements in the manufacturing area (i.e., lock-out, tag-out).  

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

  • Effectively communicate with team members, managers, and other company personnel.
