Join the ClarkDietrich team by applying to the 2nd shift Maintenance Lead position in Riverside, CA. 2nd Shift Differential Pay of $2.00 Work Hours of 2:30 PM to 12:15 AM SUMMARY: The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for the assignment, coordination, and/or the execution of activities within the maintenance group to ensure a productive workforce that supports the facility. Assists with planning and preparation of work orders, preventative maintenance, and new projects to ensure the plant is maintained is a safe, reliable and efficient manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and utility systems. * Provide training & mentoring for all maintenance employees. * Prioritize maintenance activities and employee tasks based on communication from Maintenance Manager. Coordinate planned downtime with operations teams and scheduler to complete maintenance in an efficient manner. * Ensure that workflow and daily tasks are assigned and completed. * Interface with production managers, supervisors and maintenance personnel regarding equipment problems and evaluate machine operation variations to diagnose problems or to repair machinery. * Work with Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Facilitator to ensure that appropriate maintenance/repair parts are readily accessible for critical production machinery and facilities. * Ensure that work areas and general facilities comply with Clark-Dietrich safety standards. Promote housekeeping throughout department. * Maintain department computer and documentation systems through organizing, controlling, and updating as required. * May fill in for Maintenance Manager in their absence and manage the facility in the same capacity as the Maintenance Manager. * Ensures that all safety requirements are met by all employees. Correct all unsafe acts and/or conditions. * Promotes Clark-Dietrich core values through actions as a role model. * Promotes Clark-Dietrich Cardinal Rules through actions as a role model. * Demonstrates a sound work ethic and actions that are necessary for continued advancement * Promotes employee unity through his role as a team leader. * Any other duties required by supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS * Mechanically Inclined * Problem Solver * Team Oriented * Basic computer skills, i.e.; email, search engines, upload/download documents EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * Prior manufacturing experience preferred. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: * Basic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and converting fractions into decimals. * Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer and caliper accurately.
