Job Description Summary
This role is a part of the Separation Management Office supporting the transition from GE Corporate to GE Aerospace. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering on organizational change management and employee enablement plans to drive adoption and behavior change across the Workforce Experience & Insights portfolio. You will be responsible for creating and implementing components of the overall change strategy and design and delivery of the plans. Key activities include investigating users’ experiences, needs, and preferences. You will employ various research methods, such as surveys, usability tests, and interviews to gather data, generate customer personas, and map user journeys.
The Project Analyst, UX Studies & Measurement will work in partnership with the Change Management and Enablement team to deliver on relevant and timely change management programs/projects. You will be required to demonstrate and apply knowledge of change management best practices, methodologies, and industry best standards.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
Conduct surveys, user interviews, usability tests, and other research methods to gather qualitative and quantitative data on user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as designers and product managers to determine research objectives and inform the design process through concise reports and presentations.
Create user personas and customer journey maps to provide insight into user-centered design decisions.
Analyze and interpret research findings to provide actionable recommendations that can improve our product’s usability and functionality.
Develop and execute A/B tests to validate design hypotheses.
Incorporate industry practices, emerging trends, and modern technologies into our UX research practices.
Promote objective research practices, check that design principles are inclusive and accessible, and ensure our product can be used by a diverse set of customers.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources and/ Change Management oversight.)
Demonstrable experience of working in UX research and change management.
Strong grasp of different research methodologies, including questionnaires, user interviews, and usability testing.
Robust knowledge and expertise in information architecture, prototyping, and wireframing
Prior experience working with survey tools.
Must be willing to travel up to 10%
Desired Characteristics:
Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven experience in implementing enterprise-wide HR change management initiatives that has led to user adoption.
Strong consultative skills to inform plans within the boundaries of time and resources.
Detail orientated with good analytical and critical thinking skills.
Articulate, adaptable, with excellent inter-personal and cross-cultural skills.
Eye for detail, confidence to challenge and ask questions.
Can-do attitude with a strong sense of accountability as well as interdependence.
