444-Service Technician III Primary Accountabilities: Refrigeration, mechanical and electrical testing, troubleshooting and repair of all types of marketing equipment. Troubleshooting and repairing of sealed and cassette type refrigeration units to include compressors, vacuums and recharging. Repairing/rebuilding of refrigeration systems including the proper handling of refrigerants to meet EPA standards. Clear and accurate record keeping including parts usage and inventories, refrigerant recovery usage, etc. Proper disposal and recycling of parts and equipment with associated record keeping. Must maintain satisfactory recertification with OEM standards. Basic Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude and knowledge required. Able to pass OEM certification tests. Ability to train others in all aspects of refrigeration General knowledge of computers and keyboarding Must be able to lift up to 40lbs to 50lbs continually throughout shift. Must maintain safe work habits and housekeeping. Ability to effectively communicate with their manager. Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime. Required Experience: Working with electrical systems (understanding flow, wiring, outlet, etc.) Working with mechanical systems (experience with mechanical concepts, troubleshooting and repairing appliances, basic hold repair of plumbing, electrical components, operating hand and power tools) Working with basic refrigeration systems (understanding refrigeration cycle, refrigerants, compressors, evaporators, condensers, etc.) Working with moving equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, etc.) 1-3 years of refrigeration systems experience Equal Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
