Clarion Sintered Metals Process Engineer in Ridgway, Pennsylvania
*Job Description: *
- The purpose of the Process Engineer is to design and implement system and equipment procedures used in manufacturing facility.
*Key Responsibilities: *
Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Establish procedures / specifications for process implementation.
Designing and planning equipment layout.
Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production.
Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes that impact quality, cost, and throughput.
Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Estimating production costs.
Provide technical support for new and current product.
Assist with development of Flow Diagrams, Control Plans. PFMEA and Inspection Plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in chemical, material, mechanical or industrial engineering or related work experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic command of English language.
Mechanical and analytical skills.
Knowledge of powder metal process.
Above average problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient computer skills.
Advanced math topics for troubleshooting their work, analysis, and design. * *
Blueprint and GD&T.
Competency Requirements:
Understand process sheets used in production, internal prints, and customer drawings.
Understand and apply statistical principle and analysis.

Knowledge and use of powder metal equipment and tooling.
