Clarion Sintered Metals Process Engineer in Ridgway, Pennsylvania

*Job Description:  *

  • The purpose of the Process Engineer is to design and implement system and equipment procedures used in manufacturing facility. 

*Key Responsibilities:         *

  • Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for   manufacturing to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. 

  • Establish procedures / specifications for process implementation.

  • Designing and planning equipment layout.        

  • Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production.

  • Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes that impact quality, cost, and throughput.

  • Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. 

  • Estimating production costs. 

  • Provide technical support for new and current product.

  • Assist with development of Flow Diagrams, Control Plans. PFMEA and Inspection Plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in chemical, material, mechanical or industrial engineering or related work experience.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Basic command of English language.

  • Mechanical and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of powder metal process.

  • Above average problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Advanced math topics for troubleshooting their work, analysis, and design.  * *

  • Blueprint and GD&T.
