Company Introduction:

Chicken Salad Chick provides a delicious menu with a variety of 13 Chicken Salads, homemade sides, delicious soups, and great sandwiches. This location is one of the originals to the franchise and we are looking for a hospitality professional to help us maintain a team of excellence and superb service.Overview:

The Chicken Salad Chick Director of Catering and Events - works directly with our guests to plan catering menus and events according to their needs and expectations. They are responsible for the coordination and execution of all catering and event-related activities, including; catering deliveries, transport of food and supplies to venues, set-up/breakdown/cleanup of food, supplies, and decor for all events, as well as, serving food and drinks on-site as needed. They will also assist our management team occasionally in-store with team member training, positional support, and food preparation if needed.

Additional Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees the planning, logistics, and execution of all Chicken Salad Chick catering and events in the Jackson Metro area including grand openings, local ribbon cuttings, annual community events, golf tournaments, partnerships with local schools, fundraising partnerships, and other on-site events.

• Makes weekly in-person sales calls to local businesses/partners to identify new catering and event opportunities.

• Cultivates relationships with our existing contacts to generate new sales.

• Grows fundraising/sponsorship opportunities across existing accounts and establishes new opportunities; coordinates all aspects of sponsorship/fundraising fulfillment.

• Attends weekly/monthly offsite networking opportunities in our local market.

• Creates/Hosts monthly in-store events targeted at new business development.

• Works directly with Director of Marketing on coordination of marketing campaigns and any additional company projects.

• Assists with design and updates to event graphics including print materials, signage, digital graphics, and advertising materials.

• Assists with catering and event marketing campaigns including social media, community calendars, websites, billboards, magazine/print media, radio, press releases, etc.

• Manages timeline for Catering and Events Marketing Plan (ie: New LTO's, Holiday Blast, Summer Blast, Special Events etc.)

• Assists management with organizing and executing seasonal/holiday décor on property.

• Maintains relationships and remains active in local and professional organizations.

Qualifications:

• Excellent at organization and planning

• ‪Ability to problem-solve and accomplish projects with little supervision

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet aggressive deadlines and timelines

• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments

• Driven and motivated to flourish with a growing company

• Monday-Friday office hours; select nights/weekends for events

Computer Requirements:

• Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram/Facebook, TikTok); Interests in social media trends

• Experience using MacBook, iPad, and other Apple products

• Proficient in Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, Outlook

Bonus Qualifications:

• Knowledge/experience in entertainment, audio visual, musicians/bookings

• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
