Synectic Solutions Inc Logistic Analyst in Ridgecrest, California

SSI needs to add an experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy.

Provide logistics support and perform tasks associated with the High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM), Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM) and programs as part of the ARM (Anti-Radiation Missile) Team supporting the PMA-242, Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program.  Shall serve as a member of the ARM Integrated Product Team (IPT) under the direction of the Assistant Program Manager Logistics (APML) and Deputy Assistant Program Manager Logistics (DAPML). This position will be located at China Lake, CA .

Salary Range $38.80 ($80,794) - $46.88 ($97,500)

Duties will include:

  • Performing various tasks related to developing, operating, evaluating, and improving weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.

  • Working on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues.

    Specific Duties:

  • Technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources.

  • Development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans.

  • Systems acquisition requirements analysis.

  • Weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility.

  • Research and provide recommendations for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution.

  • Collecting, compiling, analyzing, investigating, researching, and applying logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data and information.

  • Develop, modify, prepare, and validate documentation in relation to automated logistics and maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

  • Develop/review ARM weapon system Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Management Plans and manage and support DMSMS efforts.

  • Develop/review a Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to determine possible maintenance support options.

  • Provide physical inventory management for conventional weapons parts inventory movement, maintenance tools, Support Equipment, and Test Equipment

    Required Qualifications :

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance held within the past 24 months and able to maintain it for the duration of employment.

  • BS or BA degree. Working towards Professional Logistics Certification

  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (2) years of experience working in direct support of Defense life-cycle logistics can be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

  • Of the at least 10 years’ experience, at least six (6) years’ experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics.  

    Experience:

  • At least four years of experience conducting explosive ordnance movement and warehousing logistics .

  • Minimum of four (4) years of specific experience in technical analysis of logistics acquisition requirements analysis as well as experience demonstrating ability to independently perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems or equipment, both air vehicle and avionics.
