The CarMax Workday Team enables technical solutions to support HR and enterprise programs for a Fortune 100 Company with over 30,000 Associates and 240 locations nationwide. As an established Workday customer, the CarMax Workday Team continuously enhances Workday functionality to meet the demands of our growing and innovative business. Our current Workday modules include HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Core & Advanced Compensation, Learning, Benefits, as well as Workday SKUs like Extend.

The Workday Analyst II will be integral in the design and implementation of innovative solutions to support a wide variety of HR processes and initiatives. Our team is responsible for supporting all facets of the Workday ecosystem which is utilized by over 30,000 associates. As our business rapidly changes, this analyst will quickly learn the CarMax environment and begin working to meet the needs of our business partners; providing exceptional customer service while also rapidly delivering and configuring solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements - Workday Analyst II

•2+ years of Workday configuration experience in multiple areas of HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent or Recruiting

•Proficient with Workday Report Writing

•Bachelor’s degree preferred

•Training Courses or seminars related to Workday preferred

•Excellent analytical, problem solving skills

•Ability to drive for results in challenging conditions

•Ability to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization, and collaborate with other departments and teams

•Ability to determine customer specific needs and put forth actions to meet those needs

•Ability to prioritize to achieve results

•Ability to execute and adjust a plan with independence

•Ability to initiate and implement innovative process improvements

•Ability to communicate in a clear and open manner through verbal, written, and non-verbal methods, to all levels of the organization

•Ability to summarize or present complex and/or technical information into easy-to-understand pieces

Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center or the Dallas Tech Hub in Plano, TX and have a Hybrid work arrangement
