Honeywell Sr Sales Representative-Smart Energy East in Richmond, Virginia

Our sales approach begins by identifying customer demands before they become challenges. We’re committed to delivering customer success through our comprehensive expertise in software and technology.

Working from a home office you will manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our Smart Energy Department. You will build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers. Utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers

Key Responsibilities

· Identify Opportunities and manage the sales pipeline.

· Manage and Plan Accounts

· Negotiate and Close

· Articulate and Deliver Value Proposition

· Manage Momentum Through the Sales Cycle

· Establish Rapport with Customers

· Up to 50% travel required within assigned territory

· Must be able to travel for periods up to one week.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

· Post-secondary Education

· 7+ years of experience in account management for electrical and utility metering, smart energy and smart city projects

· Valid Drivers License

· U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

WE VALUE

· Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management technical field

· Excellent communication skills

· Well organized and results-driven

· Experience responding to complex RFPs for technical solutions involving products and services

· Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization, including C-level

· Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment

· Experience selling the value proposition for complex software and services solutions

· Experience with electric and utilities preferred, including large utilities like ENMAX

· Experience managing channel and distribution partners

· Competency with Salesforce.com, or other CRM management tools
