Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Richmond, Virginia. This role primarily involves ERP system implementation, bank reconciliations, and audit, with a minor focus on accounts payable. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing financial processes and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage ERP system to streamline financial operations.

• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of financial information and ensure compliance with GAAP and US GAAP standards.

• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.

• Perform month-end close procedures to finalize financial transactions for the period.

• Address and resolve any financial discrepancies or issues identified during audits.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

• Ensure all financial operations are carried out in compliance with local and federal regulations.

• Monitor financial trends and make recommendations for improvements. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Monthly Bank Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting and US GAAP

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with Audit and Financial Audit processes

• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
