Provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all general engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Responsible for:

  1. Planning and executing project completion and punch list.

  2. Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.

  3. Preparing invoices.

  4. Submitting O&M manuals.

  5. Assisting in development of full estimate.

  6. Participate in KPR (Key Project Review).

  7. Managing coordination & detailing logs & schedule.

  8. Managing schedule updates.

  9. Managing productivity reports.

  10. Identifying value added solutions & cost savings methods.

Education

  1. 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program)

  2. 0-2 years of experience with a MS/MA

Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to sit in a normal seated position for extended periods of time

  2. Must be able to view a computer screen for extended periods of time

  3. Possessing good vision (may be corrected vision)

  4. Ability to communicate

  5. Must have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard, including significant fine finger dexterity

  6. Maintaining effective audio-visual abilities and perception needed for: making observations, reading and writing, communicating with others, operating assigned equipment according to safety standards

  7. Focusing on complex tasks for extended periods of time

  8. Walking, standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time

  9. Pushing, pulling or lifting equipment or supplies routinely encountered in an office environment

  10. At times, required to access work areas that are accessible only by O.S.H.A. approved site construction ladders or stairs that are under construction

  11. Must wear an M.C. Dean hard hat and safety glasses at all times while on the job site

Abilities
