Virginia Veterinary Centers in Richmond, VA is hiring a dedicated & enthusiastic Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Dental & Oral Surgery Department!

This position is very Anesthesia focused. VVC has an Anesthesiologist on staff to provide support to our LVT's and DVM's.

You would be a good fit for this position if you have:

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written

  • Proactive thinking and the right attitude are also a must

  • Credentialed veterinary technician with s trong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.)   

    Job Requirements:

  • Veterinary Technician Licensed (required)

  • Strong communication and client service skills

  • Proven ability to multi-task in a busy work setting

  • Strong sense of compassion and empathy for our patients and clients

  • Strong anesthesia skills

    Compensation: Starting at $27/hour
