Description We are looking for a skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia, in the Real Estate & Property industry. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting information security across different systems and applications, conducting cyber security and privacy education, and assisting in maintaining the organization's information security and privacy policies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in Information Security and Privacy efforts across all business areas and vendor engagements to ensure appropriate security controls are in place and adhered to.

• Work within a Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) system to add and update information security records and documentation.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and maintain information System Security Plans (SSP).

• Represent the Information Security Office in Project Management Office-led projects to ensure significant projects have appropriate ISO representation.

• Collaborate with different teams to understand business challenges, develop tailored options that provide value and facilitate compliance, and provide timely and clear communications.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of information security standards and processes, including conducting occasional research from various reputable sources.

• Assist with controls documentation, including information system diagramming, populating risk assessment templates, and drafting control narrative documentation for business approval.

• Review contracts, agreements, and other vendor documentation to ensure adequate information security protections are in place.

• Work with a variety of technology skills including Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Database, AB Testing, Auditing, AWS Technologies, Configuration Management, and Cyber Security. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT Security field, preferably within the Real Estate & Property industry.

• Proficiency with Checkpoint and Cisco ASA is mandatory.

• Must possess a deep understanding of Cisco Technologies.

• Must have experience in implementing and managing Cloud Technologies.

• Must have a strong background in Database management and security.

• Knowledge of AB Testing is highly desirable.

• Previous experience with Auditing, specifically within IT Security, is required.

• Familiarity with AWS Technologies is a plus.

• Must have proven skills in Configuration Management.

• Should have a strong understanding and experience in Cyber Security.

• Must have excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in IT Security will be considered an advantage.
