JOB SUMMARY:

Field Service Technicians deliver high quality service to Patton's customers with a focus on safety, quality, integrity, and collaboration. Field Service Technicians are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through installing, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on compressed air equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Field Service Technician you will deliver high quality service toPatton's customers with a focus on safety, quality, integrity, and collaboration.

• Install or rebuild and test compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities
• Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs
• Document work performed using designated forms and submit reports to appropriate business units in a timely manner
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Parts and Sales Departments to facilitate service to customers
• Exhibit the highest level of safety standards by consistently donning appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to OSHA regulatory requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The Field Service Technician opportunity with Pattons may be an excellent fit for you if you have the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Driver's License
• Minimum of 3-5 years' mechanical and/or electrical service technician experience
• Ability to prioritize tasks with strong time management skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of OSHA regulatory standards

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICALDEMANDS OF THE JOB:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. on a regular and frequent basis
• Ability to grasp and manipulate objects, tools, and materials
• Job functions require seeing, hearing, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, and/or climbing
• Job functions require walking and/or standing on concrete floors and other hard surfaces for multiple hours on a regular and frequent basis

WORKING CONDITIONS OF THE JOB:

• Job functions are primarily performed in industrial settings including, but not limited to, warehouses, distribution centers, manufact ring plants, hospitals, boiler rooms, compressor rooms, and outdoors
• Travel to customer facilities by company-provided automobile required on a daily basis
• Exposure to extremes in hot and cold temperatures, dust, wet and/or dirty environments, chemicals, and fumes
• Exposure to loud noise levels
• Job functions may be performed small and difficult to reach spaces on an occasional basis
